Anaheim Soccer Association

is a non-profit organization directed and supported by an all-volunteer staff. We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to help make soccer a positive experience for our community's children. 9/10/14 – Candy pick-up @ ASA office 6-8pm

9/13/14 – Season starts for U6 and U8 teams

9/14/14 – Opening day ceremony and carnival. Picture day. 

10/1/14 – Candy Money due @ ASA office  6-8pm

 

 

9/10/14

Candy Pick-up @ ASA office from 6-8pm. Please send 1 representative from your team to pick up the boxes. You can hand them out at practice.

 

9/13/14

First games for U6 and U8 in house divisions. If you are the first game you will need to set-up and if you are the last game you will need to tear down. Please remember to control your parents and your sidelines. Do not yell at the referees. Please remember to pick up all trash after your game. Sidelines, we will have Home and Away sidelines. The Home sideline will be the side closest to the school and Away will be the farthest sideline from the school. Please respect each other and work out any issues. Above all HAVE FUN! We want happy kids coaches.

Opening day ceremony and carnival./Picture day

If you have not yet picked up your “taco” tickets you will need to contact coach Miguel asap.  malcala@sdcoc.net      Tickets are to be sold at $5 each. Also we still need parents to sign up to work the booth.

There will be a limited number of fund raising booths available for your teams to earn some funds. Please return attached “ASA 2014 Booth” form to coach Miguel for consideration. DO NOT PLAN ON A BOOTH UNLESS YOU ARE NOTIFIED BY COACH MIGUEL.

Picture Day

All times will be announced asap. Your team will receive a time slot for your pictures to be taken. It is very important for you and your team to be on time. If you miss your time slot you will be sent to the end of the line and will be worked back in when possible. Please have your team in line by height. If you are using a banner please have it set-up and ready prior to seeing the photographer, just have some parents hold it. PLEASE KEEP YOUR PARENTS BACK AND OUT OF THE WAY. You can set up your team off to the side somewhere if parents want to take group shots when the photographer is done. While the photographer is working with them is not the time for parents to steal shots. If we all work together we can get this done smoothly and quickly.

Candy money is due @ ASA Office 6-8pm. If you have a player who does not turn in the candy money their Player Card will be pulled and they will be ineligible to play until they pay.
